FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) And WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Service).


FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) or WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Service):

In this process Amazon, Walmart fulfill orders, provide customer & return service on sellers’ behalf. For that you have to ship your inventory to their warehouse. You can buy Brand name inventory from Supplier or Distributor and get it shipped to their warehouse.

MISCONCEPTION:

FBA or WFS can only be done for Private Label: No it's not, you can also sell someone else brand or a big brand name like NIKE, SONY as FBA & WFS. FBA & WFS is just a process of doing business on Amazon and Walmart.

PROCESS:

  • We will purchase calculated inventory at retail price or discounted price on behalf of our client and get it shipped to our 3PL, Rush Distribution Center.
  • Our VA team will create FBA/WFS Shipment and forward those Shipping labels to the Rush Distribution Center team.
  • Team at Rush Distribution Center will prepare FBA/WFS Shipments and send it to Amazon/Walmart.
  • Once a Seller store receives an order, the order will be fulfilled by Amazon/Walmart.3PL repack & reship it to customer
  • FBA orders are fulfilled under Amazon Prime.
  • WFS Orders are fulfilled under Walmart+.

PROS & CONS:

PROS:

  • There’s no need to buy inventory up front or store it.
  • Easy to get setup.
  • Low overhead costs.
  • Flexibility and wide array of products.
  • Easier to grow your business.

CONS:

  • Can be more expensive than traditional retail.
  • Limited control over quality and branding.
  • Satisfying customers becomes harder than it needs to be.
  • Tracking inventory can be tough.
